Glass & Coating of REVORING

The German Schott B270® glass is used in making the Polariser and VND filter. It includes Anti-Reflective coatings, which virtually eliminate all flare and reflections from the front and rear surfaces. This helps visible light to pass through the glass by removing unwanted reflections, giving the user the best possible light transmission (up to 97%), and optimizing images for the sharpest possible outcome. Whether shooting at 16mm or 400mm, the glass and coatings used in our system produce sharp images, even at light reductions of up 10 stops.

 

What is REVORING Swift System?

The REVORING Swift System is a fully Magnetic Modular Filter System for Photographers and Filmmakers to tailor a system for his/her own needs. It is comprised of a 100mm Filter Holder, Circular Filters, Square Filters, Drop-in Filters, Clip-on Filters, Matte Boxes, Hoods and Caps, ALL-IN-ONE. The Swift system saves you a great amount of installation time, saves you a lot of money from buying filters & step rings, and allows for countless filter combinations & creative possibilities.

The REVORING Swift System can be divided into 3 layers (🇦 BASE , 🇧 Bridge & 🇨 TOP ACCESSORIES). The 🇦 BASE layeris our REVORING, allowing you to use the entire system on any lens thread. The 2nd layer is the 🇧 BRIDGE, you can decide the components (VND, Drop-in filter or just a Bridge ring) based on your filter needs. The top layer is the 🇨 TOP ACCESSORIES. You can choose to add either the Square Filter Holder, Matte Box or Hood. The 3 layers can be magnetically attached to each other, making installation extremely easy.

Clip-on Magnetic Filter Holder for 100mm Filters

The Swift Clip-on Filter Holder is the holy grail for landscape photographers. Only 3 seconds and you are free to shoot. First, Twist and attach the REVORING base to your lens. Second, Clip the Filter Holder and the bridge ring onto the REVORING base. And third, Snap your 100mm Square & Rectangular Magnetic Filters on. You will forget about the cumbersome setup of your previous slot-in filter holder and wonder ‘Why has this never been done by anyone before?’

A magnetic filter holder cap has also been developed to protect the filters while you are on-the-go.

 

K-Series GND Filter

H&Y Soft GND filter is made of tough Corning® Gorilla® Glass III with premium coating. On the basis of it, the filter effectively reduces the exposure for one side of the frame. As mentioned, H&Y finishes all the rectangular filters with 9 layers of Oil/water-proof & double-sided coatings. Therefore, the filters can last for years and introduce no color cast.

Vignetting Test

The widest focal length we support would be 14mm when one thin adapter + drop-in filter holder is used, 16mm when REVORING Swift Magnetic Variable Adapter + drop-in filter holder is used.

The vignetting test is done with the lens Nikon Z 14-30mm f/4.0. The compatibility will vary due to different lens designs. It is known that Sony lenses will have lower compatibility with vignetting. 16mm is the widest focal length that Sony lenses can be used with a thin adapter and drop-in filter holder without vignetting.

Magnetic Screw-in Adapters

If you own an ultra-wide angle lens, like 14mm-18mm, H&Y has an alternative for you to use the magnetic system without painful vignetting. The Swift Magnetic Screw-in adapters have a selection of lens thread choices: 62, 67, 72, 77, 82, 86 and 95mm. They can be connected to 67-82mm(Universal Size) bridge ring, magnetic VND filter, and drop-in racks. We also cater to the need for some special lenses that were built without lens threads:

• Laowa 12mm f/2.8
• Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Shift
• Sony 14mm f/1.8
• Canon 17mm f/4L
• Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8S
• Olympus 7-14mm f/2.8
• Fujifilm 8-16mm f/2.8R

The adapter for the special lens will connect to (C)accessaries - square filter holder, hood, and matte box directly. No bridge components will be needed. Unfortunately, drop-in filters cannot be used in this case yet we promise we are figuring out a solution for it.
